Nurse Aid and Angel Hands accepts private pay,
insurance, and Medicaid.
All of us have family members who are elderly and desire to stay in their
home for as long as possible, but we must think about their safety.
Whether your loved one is a dear child or an elderly relative we can
provide the care they need. We specialize in meeting the unique and
individual needs of your family with around-the-clock nursing care.
Qualified personnel who care about people and strive to do their best for
their patients will care for your relative. We pride ourselves in the
excellent service we have provided in the past and we would love to help
you.
All applicants go through an extensive application process before they
are hired.
We require an initial county of residence criminal record check for all
unlicensed applicants and upon being hired a statewide criminal
background check is performed by the SBI.
All applicants must provide a skin test, a valid and current TB skin
test, a form of positive picture ID and proof of U.S. citizenship or
authorization to work in the US.
We verify their licensure or certification via the NC board of Nursing or
the NC Nurse Aide Registry (DFS), and check
references from past employers.
A passing grade must be scored on a competency test before being sent to
an assignment.
We encourage all employees to be CPR certified and offer classes
periodically throughout the year.
All unlicensed employees are required to provide a police report upon
hire and a statewide criminal investigation is performed by the NC
department of Justice as well.
Home Care/Private Duty Nursing is available in the following counties:
Guilford, Caswell, Stokes, Chatham, Rockingham, Randolph, Forsyth,
Alamance, Davidson
